Westcliff Army & Navy (surplus) Stores  was opened in 1950 with the concept of supplying quality goods at a price that could be afforded by the average working man. This was, as now, achieved by shopping around for specials and bulk buying, thus allowing us to give you, our customers, the benefit of any savings we make by passing on our discounts.

Originally most of our stock was comprised of ex-government and military surplus items alongside camping equipment and cheap workwear. Over the years this has increased to include, amongst others, a large selection of boots and shoes for both work and leisure, a range of industrial clothing that caters for most trades, and recently a selection of outsize clothing specially made for the bigger man. We have also found a need in our area for a reliable supplier of clothing and equipment for the Bowls enthusiast and as a consequence of that, now hold a large stock catering for this section of the public.

The layout of the shop and the range of goods we stock has changed much over the years, but our trading policy has stayed the same with courteous personal service being to the fore. We intend to carry out this new e-commerce branch of our business with the same commitment.
